According to a Caribou Police Department official, a 44-year-old man was visiting the graves of a close friend and never heard his vehicle depart over the hill. Upon his returning to his Toyota pickup, he found it missing. The investigation found five gravestones knocked over, along with several flower boxes destroyed. Damage to the 1988 pickup was estimated at $2,000.
