Class targets self confidence

PRESQUE ISLE — Starting Aug. 18, New Ventures Maine will offer Building Confidence, a free three-week class to help participants assess their confidence and learn concrete tools to build and keep it strong.

Suzanne Senechal-Jandreau, trainer for the class, noted, “Self-confidence is important in every aspect of our lives, yet many of us struggle to find and maintain it. The good news is that self-confidence can be improved.
“If you are in the market for a job, starting a job, or in a place of life transition and want to be more self-confident, this class may be a good place to start,” she said.
Building Confidence will be held on Thursdays from Aug. 18-Sept. 1 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
Pre-registration is required. There is no fee. For more information or to register, contact Senechal-Jandreau at New Ventures Maine at 768-9635 or senechal@maine.edu.
