PRESQUE ISLE – Kellie Benson, 43, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016, in Presque Isle. She was born in Rockville, Conn., the daughter of William and Darla (Beaulier) Benson.
Kellie worked for 17 years as an office manager for Governor’s of Presque Isle. She was a loving mother of two girls, a loyal friend, and never hesitated to place the needs of others before her own. She enjoyed the simple things in life and loved watching her girls grow up, they were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her mother, Darla of Portage Lake; her two daughters, Leslie and Kylee Mejia; her two sisters, Heather King of Presque Isle, and Shirley Beaulier of New Hampshire, a brother, Tory Howard of Belfast; two half-brothers, William and Stephen Benson; and a half-sister, Susan Benson. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her half-sister, Lisa Benson.
A time of remembrance was held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at 1 p.m. at 440 Cottage Road in Portage Lake, Maine. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.duncan-graves.com.
