LINNEUS and HOULTON — Paulene “Polly” Sharp Warman, R.N., 93, passed away on August 4, 2016 at her home away from home, Madigan Estates. She was born October 30, 1922, the daughter of LeRoy and Emma (McQuarrie) Sharp.
Polly graduated from Ricker Classical Institute in 1940, Aroostook General Hopsital in 1944 and Ricker College in 1972 with BS degree in Nursing. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Maine Teachers Association and the Rebekah Lodge #78. Her favorite activities were going to camp at Skitacook Lake, water skiing, quilting, golfing, playing cards and bowling.
She is survived by her three children, Clyde R. Warman Sr. and his wife, Martha, Bruce A. Warman and his wife, Janet, all of Houlton, Cynthia Harris and her husband, Larry of Orrington; two grandchildren, Clyde Warman Jr. and his wife, Heidi of Houlton, Erica Cropley and her partner Chris Drew of Ludlow; three great- granchildren, Rylee and Drew Warman of Houlton and Jonathon Cropley of Linneus. She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Brent B. Warman; a brother, Kenneth Sharp and a sister, Arlene (Sharp) Tomilson.
The family would like to thank everyone at Madigan Estates for the excellent care and everything they have done.
