PRESQUE ISLE & SANDUSKY, MI – Stella Kathleen Armstrong, age 91, a resident of Sandusky, MI and formerly of Presque Isle, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016, at the Sanilac Medical Care Facility in Sandusky. She was born on April 21, 1924, in Four Falls, NB, Canada.
Stella and John Armstrong were married on October, 21, 1943. He preceded her in death on February 10, 1998.
Surviving are five sons and one daughter: Dana and Jan Armstong of Webberville, MI, Kim Armstrong of WA, Guy Armstrong of Portland, OR, Jerry Armstong of Penscola, FL, Clay and Annette Armstong of North Branch, MI, and Brenda and Bill Wideman of Lexington, MI; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita and Marie both of Canada; and two brothers, Don
Scott of Washing-ton, and Bill Scott of Canada.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Freda and Nora; two sons, Leonard and Nolan; one sister; and several brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Homes, 30 Church Street in Presque Isle, Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow at the Crouseville Cemetery.
