CARIBOU, Maine — The 10th annual alumni/community cross country race is set for Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 on the Caribou High School trails.
The race begins at 7:45 and is held under the lights. Registration gets underway at 6:30 p.m. The race is run on a 2.75-mile course and is for all ages. There will be categories for 50-and-over, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, high school, eighth-grade and younger and elite runners.
Groups will start one minute apart to give everyone a fair chance of winning
Those signing up can race as an individual or be part of a team, which can have up to five people and be men’s, women’s or mixed.
There is no entry fee. Winners will receive race T-shirts. Call Roy Alden at 762-0905 for more information.
