Extension offers food workshop
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer a two-part food preservation workshop at the UMaine Cooperative Extension Office in Presque Isle on Aug. 23 and 30, 2016 from 1-4 p.m. or 6-9 p.m.
This is a “hands-on” class that will cover water bath and pressure canning, freezing and drying.
Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. Cost for the two-part workshop is $25 per person.
