Mill Pond prepares to welcome students

HODGDON, Maine — Loreen Wiley, principal of Mill Pond School, is welcoming all new students in SAD 70 for the new school year. Parents of new students in the following towns: Hodgdon, Amity, Cary, Haynesville, Linneus, Ludlow and New Limerick, should register at Mill Pond School in Hodgdon before Sept. 6, 2016.

SAD 70 board reminds all parents/guardians that the first day of school for students in grades K-6 will be Tuesday, Sept. 6. Breakfast begins at 7:45 with classes beginning promptly at 8 a.m. Buses leave the school at 2:30 p.m. and late dismissal for walkers, bikers, and students is at 2:35.

The board asks parents to schedule appointments and lessons later in the afternoon, so students will complete their daily classes. Pre-K will start classes on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
