Stewart a natural born leader
To the editor:
When it comes to representing Presque Isle in the Maine House of Representatives there is only one clear choice: Trey Stewart. Trey is exactly the type of new blood we need to get Augusta working for the people of Aroostook County again.
Trey understands the value of hard work and serves our community well as a first responder right here in Presque Isle. He’s also put in countless hours helping veterans and the people of Aroostook County through his work with Congressman Bruce Poliquin.
For years, we have seen our kids grow up here in Maine only to migrate to other states in search of jobs and economic opportunity. A natural born leader, Trey knows that lowering our tax burden and addressing our out-of-control energy costs will help us attract and retain businesses who can bring optimum-paying jobs to Maine and help to keep our young people here.
We can no longer afford to send the same tone deaf politicians back to Augusta. It’s time for a fresh start and that is why I urge you to join me in voting for Trey Stewart for our state representative.
