MARS HILL – Lynda Rae Foss, 48, died August 10, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident. Lynda was born, December 21, 1967, in Machias, ME, to Richard Foss and Carolyn (Feeney) Foss.
Lynda graduated from Woodland High School and WCCC as a Professional Truck Driver. Lynda took pride in learning the trucking profession from several of her mentors including her “Dad’s and Brother’s” and her second Family at L&F Leasing.
Many will fondly remember Lynda for her big heart for the underdog, her love of cooking, her sense of Adventure with exploring new places, her enlightening storytelling, and for making new friends wherever she went.
Lynda is survived by her pride and joys, daughters, Alicia Lynn and Emily Jane of Mars Hill; granddaughter, Lily of Brewer; dad and stepmom, Richard and Ellen of East Machias; brother, Thomas of East Machias; sisters, Heidi of Carmel, and Denise of Maryland; stepbrother, Bruce of Pembroke; and stepsister, Brenda of Wisconsin; along with their families. Lynda’s life was blessed with many family and friends with super supporters, Auntie, Miss Ann, Billie Jo and Chris.
She was predeceased by her mom and stepdad, Carolyn and Malcolm Hatton; stepbrother, Douglas; grandparents, Edgar and Ruth Foss, and Colin and Electa Feeney.
