The County open was held this last weekend. At Houlton, Austin Lancaster shot an amazing 66 on Saturday to win the stroke play tournament.
Second place went to Jerry York. Net winner in the A division was Adam Derosier followed by Mike Fleming.
In the B division, first place went to Sean Dolomont, followed by Dick York and Bob Gray. Net winners were Drew Marino, followed by Chris Eastman and Kevin Tuttle.
In the C division was lead by Jim Quirk, followed by Richard Schmidt and Kyle Bouchard. Net winners in the C division were Dewey DeWitt, with Skip Cleary and Scott Spurling close Behind.
The ladies were lead by Luanne Dwyer, with Misty Marino and Lauren McAuliffe following. Net prizes went to Marion Collins, followed by Jenn Carr and Cait Dwyer-Cain. It was another successful weekend for the Houlton Hospital Foundation.
The St. John Senior Women will be at the course Wednesday with 60-plus golfers. The course will be closed for play til late afternoon.
The Club Championship will be played the weekend of August 27 and 28. The Presidents Cup will be held at the same time.
The Babe Caron Memorial will be held over Labor Day weekend.make your plans to attend.
After the rush of the County Open, the Lakeside Restaurant will get back to a regular schedule. Stop in and enjoy a casual meal. Reservations are 694-9494.
