CARIBOU, Maine — The Friday Night Karting Series at Spud Speedway continued Aug. 19, 2016 and Damian Theriault of Caribou kept his winning streak alive in the Senior Champs division.
Theriault captured the victory, finishing ahead of runner-up Jason Theriault of Caribou and third-place finisher Tom Hale of Westmanland. Damian Theriault has now won all 18 races he has entered this summer.
In the Kids Kart category, Gage Theriault of Limestone rode to the win. He was followed by Parker Bosse of Limestone, Avery Lloyd of New Denmark, New Brunswick and Kayden Haines of Caribou.
Bryan Searles of Presque Isle took the checkered flag in the Junior Champs division. Noah Coventry of Van Buren was second and Hunter Bennett of Prospect third.
The next race is this Friday, Aug. 26 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Grandstand admission is free and pits are $10.
