HOULTON — Carl S. “Bub” Sawyer Jr., 55, died August 16, 2016 in Houlton. He was born November 7, 1960 in Meridan, CT, the son of Carl Sr. and Bessie (Jipson) Sawyer.
Carl enjoyed working in the woods, hunting, fishing and cranking his music.
Besides his mother of Linneus he is survived by the love of his life, Cheryl; his three children, Evan Gonya of AL, Carla Sawyer and Ryan Sawyer, both of Houlton; seven grandchildren but soon to be eight; two sisters, Beth and Belinda; a brother, Arthur; an aunt, Brenda Swimm; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his best friend, Brent Shields. He was predeceased by his father; several aunts, uncles and close friends.
Friends may call 9 – 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23rd at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street. Graveside funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Linneus Cemetery with Rev.
