    AYOTTE, Virginia Edna (Goodall), 63, Augusta, August 21, 2016. There are no planned visiting hours or services. Arrangements are under the care of Plummer Funeral Home, Augusta.

    AUGUSTA, ME – Virginia Edna (Goodall) Ayotte passed away on August 21, 2016, after a long battle with Lung Cancer. Virginia was born in Milton, Mass., on July 1, 1953, to Howard Asa Goodall Sr. and Virginia Edna (Fredericks) Goodall. SH VirginiaAyotte1OB
    On February 27, 1971, Virginia married her husband of 45 years, Patrick James Ayotte Sr. Virginia always said that her husband was her soulmate and she loved him more than anything. The love they had for each other was evident in everything they did. They were inseparable.
    Virginia is survived by her husband, Patrick Ayotte Sr. of Augusta; her son, Patrick James Ayotte Jr. and his wife, Sharon of Winslow, ME; grandchildren: Austin Ayotte of Waterville, Emma Ayotte of Winslow, Kristyn Ayotte and her children, Alyx and Easton of Oakland, Kevin and Wendy Hardy along with their children, Zoey and Daniella of Waterville, and Daniel and Hanh Hardy of Sidney. Virginia is also survived by her only sister, Evelyn (Goodall) Violette and husband, George of Old Town, ME; in-laws, Joyce and Wayne of Ashland, Frank, Lloyd and Mary of Presque Isle, Liz of Bangor, Lori and Roland of Washburn, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
    Virginia was predeceased by a son, Michael Paul Ayotte in August of 1972; her parents, Howard and Virginia Goodall; grandparents, John and Laura Goodall, Roy and Doris Fredericks; and her baby brother, Howard Asa Goodall Jr.
    Virginia and her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Magion-calda and his nurse, Jessica at the Harold Alfond Cancer Care Center in Augusta, to Deb Talacko the amazing hospice nurse that we have had the pleasure of meeting and the wonderful CNA’s that helped take care of Virginia (Donna, Chelsea, Mary, Emily and the numerous others); and Patricia Marceau, “you were Virginia’s best friend, she cherished all the time you spent with her. You were and always will be considered family.”
    “None of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. If we live, we live to the Lord and if we die, we die to the Lord; so whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s” Romans 14: 7 & 8.
