Former PI resident appears at NYSE
NEW YORK — David L. Archer, a 1967 graduate of Presque Isle High School now living in New York, helped ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange with members of his team on Friday afternoon, July 29, 2016.
He and his colleagues attended the NYSE as part of the festivities leading up to the 26th annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, a large, free, multicultural festival in Queens. He is the festival’s marketing director.
Archer is the son of Leonard and Thel Archer. His mother still resides in Presque Isle, as do his brothers, Nick and Bruce, and his sister, Carla.
He is the principal of DAAssociatesPR.com, a public relations and event marketing firm based in New York.
