CRAWFORD, Linda, 71, Mars Hill, August 22, 2016. A graveside service was held Friday, August 26, 2016, in Kings Grove Cemetery, Mars Hill. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
MARS HILL — Linda Crawford, 71, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2016. She was born on September 17, 1944, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Roland and Nora (Condon) Curtis. Linda was raised in Mars Hill where she attended ACI School and was a pom pom girl. At the age of 16, she married her husband of 55 years, Roger Crawford of Robinson. She loved her family, Garth Brooks, the Red Sox, cows and scratch tickets.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; five children, Lori Coney and her husband, Steve of Presque Isle, Julie Crawford of Mars Hill, Roger Crawford Jr. and his wife, Penny of Fernandina, FL, Wendi Ashby and her late husband, Jay Ashby of Mars Hill, and Chris Crawford of Blaine; eight grandchildren, Randell Crawford, Luke Crawford and his wife, Brittany, Kristen Coney, Jenny Crawford, Sage Ashby, Connor Crawford, Calliegh Crawford and Christopher Crawford, Jr.; three great-granddaughters, Morgan Crawford-Rossignol, Riley and Delaney Crawford; brother, Roland Curtis, Jr. of Mars Hill; sister, Gayle Dyer and her husband, Dennis of Greer, SC; brother-in-law, Roy Crawford and his wife, Gloria of Mars Hill; and brother-in-law, Bob Crawford and his wife, Lois of Mars Hill.
The family would like to sincerely thank The Aroostook Medical Center’s Critical Care Unit for their amazing and compassionate care that they gave to Linda and her family in her final days.
