Newspaper seeks help with game reporting

With the fall sports season now under way, help is being sought from all of the coaches in reporting results so teams can receive ample coverage.

When possible, the newspaper requests that coaches or managers send in their results soon after the event has finished, regardless of whether it is home or away.
For soccer, it is requested that coaches report the following information: final score, goal scorers for both teams (including players first and last names, along with the time of the goals), assists (if applicable) and goalie saves and shots on goal. A brief description of how each goal was scored would also be helpful.
For golf, the team scores and individual results for golfers should be reported.
For cross country, complete results should be reported, including the length of the course, team scores and individual runners times.
Game information can either be emailed to sports reporter Kevin Sjoberg at ksjoberg@bangordailynews.com or faxed to 764-7585.
