LIMESTONE, Maine — The 15th annual Linda M. Page Memorial Walk-A-Thon takes place Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 to benefit the Robert A. Frost Memorial Library endowment fund.
The event honors the memory of Page, who began as a library volunteer, became assistant librarian, and later served as librarian.
The walk will begin and end at the library, located at 42 Main St. Check-in and registration will begin at 9 a.m., with walkers taking off at 10 a.m. The first 30 participants who raise $25 or more will receive a free T-shirt.
At the end of the walk there will be awards and refreshments, including door prizes and a special prize for the walker who raised the most money.
Walkers under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
