A budget worth supporting
To the Editor:
MSAD 1 has presented its third budget. This budget presents less than a 1 percent increase.
If you want to attract families with children to our beautiful city of Presque Isle you have to maintain a very good school system that offers an education that enables the children to go out into the world and succeed.
Yes, it is our civic duty to educate our children and grandchildren and I think that the SAD 1 School Board and present Administration have listened and worked hard to come up with a budget that we can vote “Yes” on!
The SAD 1 school system’s 400 employees are a very big part of our five communities and our local economy! Please vote “Yes” on the school budget on September 13th.
