Advocacy group sets conference
Speaking Up for Us of Maine ( www.sufumaine.org), a statewide self-advocacy organization for people living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities,will hold their annual statewide conference on Sept. 20 and 21, 2016 at Sugarloaf Mountain Resort in Kingfield.
This year’s theme is “Health and Fitness,” so there will be a wide variety of workshops and events designed to get hearts pumping, bodies moving, and brains learning about living a healthier lifestyle.
