MILLIKEN, Pauline Isobel, 77, Presque Isle, September 3, 2016. In keeping with Poppy’s wishes, a family graveside service will be held in Kincardine at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
PRESQUE ISLE – Pauline Isobel Milliken, 77, affectionately known as “Poppy”, passed away on Sept. 3, 2016.
Poppy loved adventure and enjoyed her time trucking across the country, the people she would meet and the places she would go. Her trucker handle was Poppy Diesel. Poppy loved children, animals, blue grass music, and dancing.
Poppy was born in Kincardine, NB, on April 4, 1939. She grew up in Canada, the youngest daughter of the late A. Irvine and Helen Davidson.
She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Bell of Caribou; her brother, Allison Davidson and his wife, Sandra of Upper Kent, NB; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Gordon and Charlene Buzza; and her friends at Howard Place.
Poppy was a member of the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church.
In keeping with Poppy’s wishes, a family graveside service will be held in Kincardine at a later date. Those who wish to contribute in Poppy’s memory may do so through the Christian Education at GMUMC or the Central Aroostook Humane Society.
