NASHUA, NH – Gereald L. “Jerry” Griesinger, 65, died peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital on September 6, 2016, with his devoted wife and family at his side. He was born on April 17, 1951, in Tecumseh, MI, a son of the late Harry and Ruth J. (Wooster) Griesinger. Jerry was the husband of April (Wilcox) Griesinger. They shared over 28 years of marriage.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served from 1976 until 1987. While in the Air Force, he began his career in electronics at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. Following his discharge from the service, he entered civilian life in 1987 and moved to NH. While living in NH, he continued his career in computers, training and tech support.
When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed cruising and camping with his wife. He enjoyed furniture restoration and loved photography. Jerry was fond of Halloween and also liked to attend car shows.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Michael Griesinger; and a brother-in-law, Gary Paulette.
Besides his beloved and devoted wife, his loving family includes, his son, Brandon Griesinger and his wife, Carri of Adrian, MI; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and June Griesinger of Adrian, MI, and James and Birgit Griesinger of Adrian, MI; his three sisters Janet Huff of Adrian, MI, Sherrie Paulette of Adrian, MI, and Jeanne Musto and her husband, Joseph of Westwood, MA; his stepdaughters, Jessica (Lewin) Andrews of Marlboro, MA, and Megan (Crevier) Byrnes and her husband, Patrick of Bath, ME; his stepson, Jarrod Lewin of FL; 10 grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Shirley Kidney; brother-in-law, Kevin Wilcox and his wife, Denise; brother-in-law, Shannon Kidney; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also enjoyed the company of his close neighbor friends, Tom and Sheri Bulluck, and Mrs. Arlene Eldridge and her son, Ed.
Visiting hours were held at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua, NH, on Monday evening, Sept. 12, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. Family and friends were invited to attend. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Michigan at the convenience of his family.
