WASHBURN – Ronald Cobb, born December 17, 1957, the son of John Orlando Cobb and Eileen Mae (Brailey) went to his heavenly home surrounded by his wife and family Sept. 5, 2016.
The last thing he did was something he loved, felled a tree. Ronald grew up driving Mack Dm800 trucks for his father’s company John O. Cobb&Sons. Ronald also worked for many other various logging / trucking operations all over Aroostook County. His love was driving, he knew every road from here to York County. He sadly wasn’t able to continue trucking due to health reasons but it never waned his love of trucks. He would often make jokes about owning a B-model Mack, and he could tell you what kind of motor was in a truck jake braking by and how many cord and to where they were hauling.
Ronald was also an avid church member since 1983 when he gave his life to Christ. He loved his children unconditionally and was always there for them and went above and beyond for anything they needed. He married his beautiful wife, Elizabeth Anne, June 6, 2015. They enjoyed their families greatly and were excited to get his moose this September.
Besides his wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by his four children: a daughter, Linda Cobb of Masardis, Autumn Hersey and husband, Brye of Presque Isle, John Cobb and Destinee of St. Cloud, MN, Casey Cobb and Victoria of Kittery; his step-children, Ashley Philbrook and husband, Brian of Mapleton, Devon Espling and wife, Meagan of New Sweden, David Espling of Washburn, Mckayla Espling of Limestone; a brother, Roger Cobb and wife, Sharon of Ashland, Robin Cobb and wife, Christina of Washburn; eight grandchildren; a special niece, Texas Eileen; stepbrother, David; and many cousins nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Rosalie and Delilah Jean.
