Edgecomb joins Sewall

He’s apointed as business development manager

OLD TOWN — Officials with James W. Sewall Company have announced that Michael Edgecomb has joined the firm’s utilities group as business development manager.

Michael Edgecomb comes to the Maine-based international consulting organization after 36 years in the cable industry, MICHAELEDGECOMB 18735143 with over 20 years negotiating cable TV franchises, and serving as the cable company’s liaison to Maine and New Hampshire municipalities. At Sewall, his primary focus will be cable TV franchising and broadband planning for communities.
Previously, Edgecomb worked for Time Warner Cable, where he served in various engineering and operational positions from 1980–99. For the last 17 years, he served as their government relations director for Maine and New Hampshire, where he developed deep relationships with town managers and selectmen across the two states.
A native of Limestone and a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Army National Guard, Edgecomb currently serves as a member of the Wreaths Across America Advisory Board and Route Coordinator for Escort to Arlington Cemetery; a trustee of the Loring Development Authority Board; as the Maine state captain of the Patriot Guard Riders; and as a trustee of the General Henry Knox Museum Board.
