Fort Fairfield class holds 40th
FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — The Fort Fairfield High School Class of 1976 held their 40th reunion recently.
Festivities included several classmates playing golf on Friday morning. The reunion continued with a dinner meeting and social at the Aroostook Valley Country Club. There were 36 classmates and 20 guests in attendance, and all reported having a great time getting reacquainted and reminiscing.
Classmate Margaret (Peggy) White Fraser had moved away in 1971 and attended with her father, Winston White. She was happy to have been invited and able to attend.
Tony Levesque and Skip Babineau brought several pictures, yearbooks and mementos for everyone to view.
Dick Nichols, also a former teacher and coach for the class, took the group picture and many candid pictures.
Those classmates unable to attend were missed, and a moment of remembrance was held for the seven deceased members.
Those gathered for the reunion voted that a 45th reunion be held at the same location.
