A successful Harvest Festival was sponsored by the River Café. Featured at the Café were Binotto’s Farm and Spring Break Maple each with their specialties of apples, squash, jams, jellies, maple syrup, maple candies and more.

Across the street at 14 Houlton Road, a Craft Fair was held. Ten area craftspeople sold their wares. All the handmade items one usually sees at these events were offered. St. Agnes Ladies sold tickets on their quilt to be drawn at the Annual Craft Fair the first Saturday in November.

During this same time a very successful yard sale was held by the Island Falls Historical Society, raising money for upkeep of the properties of the Society.
