Airport extends survey
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Northern Maine Regional Airport launched a major initiative back in August which included an online survey. Airport staff have modified the original Sept. 30 closing date, extending it to Oct. 14.
According to Scott Wardwell, airport director, this is an opportunity for the public to advocate for what it wants in air service. “Improvements like non-stop service to Florida are only going to happen if the flying public expresses an overwhelming interest. An online survey is a perfect way for the public to demonstrate just that”.
The survey is available in English and in French, and to date approximately 300 have been completed. At the close of the survey, one participant will be randomly selected to receive a round-trip ticket to Boston on PenAir.
