VASSALBORO, Maine — The Houlton golf team placed fifth at the 2016 High School Team Championship at Natanis Golf Course Saturday. Playing on the “Arrowhead” course, Mattanawcook Academy won the competition shooting a 311, followed by St. Dominics, 329; Winthrop, 347; and Dirigo, 350.
Houlton had a solid day on the course, shooting 358. Hodgdon came in ninth with a 426.
Individual results for Houlton were: Duncan McCormick, 90; Isaac Vega, 109; Nick Brewer, 90; Drew Marino, 87; and Wyatt Harvey, 91.
Individual results for Hodgdon were: Justin Wilson, 101; Bryon Barton, 132; Ben Tuttle, 81; and Andrew Tuttle, 112.
