Not helpful to drug situation
To the editor:
With all the recent drug problems Maine has had including addiction, overdose and death from abused prescription pills, heroin and cocaine, why would we approve another drug to increase already existing problems?
Vote “No” on marijuana.
It took several years to reduce the consumption of tobacco. Let’s not get into the same situation with the use of another addictive substance like marijuana. Also, meth labs are keeping our lawmen busy.
The only ones who would profit from passage of this bill would be the sellers. The users would be the losers. Vote “No” on marijuana.
