CARIBOU — Frances Nadine Sager, 80, passed away October 14, 2016. She was born in Moultrie, GA, October 24, 1935, the daughter of the late George M. and Clarice E. (Weldon) Lindsey. On August 24, 1953 she married Ritner Guy “Skip” Sager.
She attended the United Baptist Church in Caribou. She very much enjoyed her time with the people and fantastic staff at Leisure Village and truly appreciated the fine care, friendship and compassion shown to her the past few years.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy G. Sager and wife Sonya Magallanes of Barrigada, Guam and Steven K. Sager and wife Susan of Caribou; a grandson, Seth K. Sager and a granddaughter, Sarae A. Sager, both of Caribou; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Christine Gibbons of AL, Marie Daughtry and husband Lark of FL, and Carolyn Raum of NY; a sister-in-law, Joyce Lindsey of CT; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sager was predeceased by her husband, Skip, in 2003, two brothers, George and Gene Lindsey, a sister-in-law, Essie Lindsey, and two brothers-in-law, Bruce Gibbons and George Raum.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of services which will be held at 11 a.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Andy Daughtry, Frances’ nephew, officiating. Interment will be held in the Northern Maine Veteran’s Cemetery, Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
