Callie is a shorthaired calico, about 6 months old, living at the Halfway Home Pet Rescue. All her medical is completed and she is ready for adoption. She would be a good companion to children of any age or to an elderly person. Callie has an exceptional personality, loves attention and will talk back. The HHPR Adoption Center will be open Saturday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. for those with pre-approved applications to choose their cats. The rescue has several adult cats ready for new homes, and until Nov. 1 the adoption fee for all cats over 1 year old is $37.50. Black and black/white cats can be adopted in October, but will not be allowed to leave the shelter until after Nov. 3. FMI: 999-1075.
