VASSALBORO, Maine — Hodgdon senior Ben Tuttle peaked at just the right time as the senior had one of his best days on the golf course Saturday playing in the State Individuals tournament at Natanis Country Club.
Tuttle shot a 79 over the 18-hole course, which earned him third place in the Class C division. Logan Thompson of Mattanawcook Academy won the individual title for Class C with his low round of 67. Mitchell Tarrio of Kents Hill was runner-up with a 75.
“I felt like I could have played better, but I’m glad how I finished,” Tuttle said.
Two golfers from Houlton also competed in the event. Drew Marino tied for 13th by shooting an 86 while Duncan McCormack was 24th with a 93.
