Wednesday, Oct. 26

CARIBOU: College Admissions Night at Caribou High School, 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Participants will learn about the college admissions process. All are welcome.

SINCLAIR: Aroostook County Commissioners meeting, 1 p.m., Sinclair fire station.

Thursday, Oct. 27

CARIBOU: NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees) will meet at the Jade Palace in Caribou at 11:30 a.m.Following lunch Andrew Sinclair from Blue Cross/Blue Shield will speak. All northern Maine employees are welcome. FMI: 498-3406.

Friday, Oct. 28

CARIBOU: Haunted Walk, 7-9 p.m. at the Caribou High School ski trails and track. All are welcome to a scary, fun-filled night with music, concessions and a haunted walk for the bravest. Cost: $4. Proceeds support CHS Project Graduation 2017.

LIMESTONE: Spooky story hour at the Robert A. Frost Memorial Library, 3 p.m. Come for a Halloween story, craft and snack. Creepy coloring contest winners to be announced.

Saturday, Oct. 29

CARIBOU: Caribou VFW hunters breakfast, 4-8 a.m. at the VFW hall, 9389 Van Buren Rd. Door prizes and raffles.

CARIBOU: Early Churches of Caribou display at the Caribou Historical Center & Museum, 1033 Presque Isle Road. Open every Saturday 12-4 p.m. 12:00 — 4:00 pm.

PORTAGE LAKE: Chicken stew and ployes with Portage Lakers ATV Club, 4-6 p.m.

PRESQUE ISLE: Aroostook Birders will present “Winter at the Bird Feeder” at Tractor Supply in Presque Isle, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., offering tips for keeping winter birds well-fed.

STOCKHOLM: Stockholm American Legion Post 136 hunters breakfast, 4:30-8 a.m. at the legion, 295 Main St. Cost: $8/adult, $4 child 10 and under. Door prizes and raffles.

Sunday, Oct. 30

CARIBOU: Aroostook River Voices will perform in concert at 2 p.m. at the Caribou Baptist Church on High Street.

Tuesday, Nov. 1

CARIBOU: Financial aid night at Caribou High School, 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. Presenter Nichole Vashon of the Finance Authority of Maine will explain the process of receiving college financial aid, as well as recent changes. All are welcome.

Wednesday, Nov. 2

CARIBOU: Flu shot clinic, Cary Medical Center’s Chan Center, 5-7 p.m. FMI: Cary Public Relations, 498-1158.

Saturday, Nov. 5

CARIBOU: Annual harvest supper at Gray Memorial United Methodist Church. Serving 5 p.m. Tickets in advance at the church office; $14 for adults, $6 children under 12. Call 498-2103.

PRESQUE ISLE: Toys for Tots of northern Aroostook County presents “Scarab: The Journey Experience” at the Presque Isle Middle School auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m. Tickets: $20; children 12 and under free. Purchase at Bradley’s, Presque Isle; Mike’s, Limestone; Mike’s and Bob’s Neighborhood Store, Caribou. SINCLAIR: Aroostook Birders will meet at 8 a.m. at the boat launch parking lot and carpool to Long Lake, stopping to see the season’s last migrant birds. Lunch will be at Lakeview Restaurant.
