American Flag ColorCARIBOU – Kenneth R. Doucette, Sr., 71, passed away October 11, 2016, at Eagle Lake, after a courageous battle with cancer.

     He was born in Caribou, August 6, 1945, the son of the late John and Celina (Moreau) Doucette.

     In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by one brother, Norman Doucette; four sisters: Mrs. Evelyn Doucette Beardsley, Mrs. Lorraine Doucette Green, Ms. Nancy Doucette, and Joan Doucette Hemphill.

     Ken is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law: Raymond Doucette and wife, Donna of Caribou, Mrs. Norman (Doris) Doucette, of Bath, NY, and John Doucette, Jr., Caribou; in addition, one son, Kenneth R. Doucette, Jr., and partner Shelly Lajoie of Van Buren; and several nieces and nephews.

     Ken was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #15, Caribou, and also a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

     Services will be at a later date and time.
