Local media group sponsors arts center

PRESQUE ISLE — Wintergreen Arts Center is proud to announce their partnership with Townsquare Media for the promotion of the nonprofit art center’s educational activities and community events.

Townsquare Media is launching its sponsorship this week with on-air interviews about the center’s upcoming CHAIR-ity event on Friday, Nov. 4, to be followed by the promotion of new online ticket sales for Wintergreen’s popular Polar Express holiday event.
“We are glad to be able to step up and help out an organization that needs it,” said Ryan Guerrette, director of sales for Townsquare Media Presque Isle. “Wintergreen Arts Center is an important part of the community and Townsquare Media is excited to be able to help in any way we can.”
Wintergreen and Townsquare Media are also looking at how more media exposure can benefit the center’s educational activities including their creative preschool, year-round after school and summer arts programming, homeschoolers’ classes, and Friday and Saturday open studio sessions.
“We are extremely grateful for Townsquare Media’s sponsorship,” said Dottie Hutchins, executive director of Wintergreen. “Our monthly events such as our Sip & Paint nights, Pizza ‘n Paint for youth, and family holiday events like our Gingerbread Festival and Polar Express, offer not only artistic community involvement, but are financially significant in keeping the doors open here at the center. Getting the word out about what we have to offer is critical, and we are thankful for Townsquare Media’s support in this effort.”
Townsquare Media Presque Isle operates local radio stations WQHR (Q96.1), WBPW (Big County 96.9 FM), and WOZI (101.9 FM The Rock) as well as web and social media platforms.
