CARIBOU: Job fair hosted by Lister Knowlton VFW Post at the Caribou VFW hall. Open to all job seekers and employers, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided.

Saturday, Nov. 5

CARIBOU: Annual harvest supper at Gray Memorial United Methodist Church. Serving 5 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance from any member or at the church office; $14 for adults, $6 children under 12. Call 498-2103. Limited number of take-outs available.

SINCLAIR: Aroostook Birders will meet at 8 a.m. at the boat launch parking lot and carpool to Long Lake, stopping to see the season’s last migrant birds. Lunch will be at Lakeview Restaurant.

CARIBOU: A Family for ME (DHHS staff) will hold an information meeting at 12 noon at 30 Skyway Dr.

LIMESTONE: Annual chicken pie supper at Limestone United Methodist Church, 5-6:30 p.m. at the church dining room. Cost: $10/adults, $5 children under 10. Family rates available. For take-out call 328-7491 and leave a message. Craft and food items for sale.

LIMESTONE: Book Club at the Robert A. Frost Memorial Library, 1 p.m. November’s book is “A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Beckman.

CARIBOU: Veterans benefit supper hosted by Lister Knowlton VFW post, starting at 4 p.m. In support of United Veterans of Maine efforts to support homeless veterans. Open to all.

STOCKHOLM: Hunters breakfast, 3-9 a.m., at Sportsmen Inc. Lodge, Axle Siding, 14 miles north of Caribou on Rt. 161. Cost: $7/adult, $5 child 12 and under. Rifle, fuel oil raffle tickets available.

CARIBOU: Soup and sandwich luncheon and bake sale at Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch: $6.
