We’re in the month of November with election, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving. We’ll be busy.
When the election is over, so will the hang-ups, solicitations, ads and so much more. Whoopie!
Margaret Drew is on vacation for a week, visiting family in Massachusetts and other areas.
We were sorry to learn of Thomas Vasko’s death. He usually went to the Thanksgiving dinner at St. Mary’s Church, and also liked to play Bingo. He lived on the third floor. He went to Presque Isle and had an accident on the way home, which resulted in his death. Our condolences to his family from his Ricker friends. Lois Downing had two visits from his nephew, one with his wife Toni and daughter Emily and then another with his brother Allen Polk. They are all from the Calais area.
Beatrice Broder Oldach from Ohio was a recent caller on Lois Downing. She was visiting her mother, Belle Brother, and favored Lois with a visit.
The winter winds are with us almost daily now. Are you getting used to the new time?
If you have an item you would like to publish, my number is 108 (at Ricker Plaza). Thank you.
Be good, and no matter which way the election goes, be a good citizen.
God bless.
