CARIBOU — Jane Louise Cowette, 57, of Caribou, died in the early morning hours of Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 in Phillips. She was born June 30, 1959, in Ft. Fairfield, a daughter of Norman Edward and Imogene E. (Tardy) Cowette. She received her education in Limestone schools. For many years she worked in custodial services for the Phillips schools. She was very kind hearted and always enjoyed helping the elderly and those in need. Jane was a beloved mother and sister. She leaves two sons; Bernie and Allen Troth, both of Connecticut; a sister, Jennifer Tardie and her husband, Mark of Caribou and J.C. M. Cowette and his wife, Jill of Old Town; six grandchildren, Tyler , Peyton, Jaxon, Alexa, Makayla and Amanda; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. She will be missed.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Limestone Cemetery. In keeping with Jane’s giving spirit, her family suggests remembrance gifts be given to the local food pantry closest to you.
