Nelson will join Tracey Tarr in the delivery of substance abuse services out of AMHC’s Houlton office located at 11 Mill Street.

“Mark brings over 30 years of treatment experience with him and a long history of service in the Houlton area,” said Peter McCorison, program director for behavioral health services. “In the 1980s, Mark worked with individuals such as David Green, George School to increase access to service in the Houlton area.”

From 1987 to 2010 Nelson worked for AMHC providing a variety of service in The County. In 2010, Mark moved to South Dakota where he continued his work gaining additional skills in providing Drug Court Services and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Services.
