BOXWELL, Donald Roy, 65, Easton, November 7, 2016. Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Easton Pentecostal Church. Arrangements are under the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
EASTON – Donald Roy Boxwell, 65, passed away in his sleep Monday, November 7, 2016. He was born August 31, 1951, in Presque Isle, the son of Ervin “Benny” and Evelyn (Lint) Boxwell.
He worked many years as a mechanic at Dick’s Transmission, and Hogan Tire. He enjoyed his ATV, snowmobiling, and ice fishing, but most of all being with family and friends. He had a big heart and was willing to help whenever needed.
Donald is survived by a son, Jeffrey Boxwell and his wife, Marsha of Beechwood, NB; two daughters, Lynn Boucher and her husband, Tony of Chapman, and Kristen Boxwell of Fort Kent; a step-daughter, Amanda Bouchard of Chapman; a step-son, Jesse Tompkins of Orrington; a brother, Ervin and Sandra Boxwell of New Sweden; two sisters, Grace Oakes and her husband, Ellis of California Settlement, NB, and Nancy Hall and her husband, Kerry of Delaware; and 11 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra (Parlin) Boxwell in 2011; an infant brother, Robert; and two sisters, Dorothy Thibodeau and Sandra Monson.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Easton Pentecostal Church. Friends called noon until time of service at the church. Interment was at Pine Tree Cemetery, Easton. Donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice. Because he was a simple man, family requested casual dress at the funeral. Online condolences may be shared at www.duncangraves.com.
