On Nov. 16 the Sherman Area Senior Citizens had their meeting, which opened with the Lord’s Prayer and Pledge to the Flag.
Everyone enjoyed a wonderful potluck lunch.
The guest speaker was Christine McPherson, volunteer coordinator with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
She spoke about how volunteers are needed to help others get to medical appointments, etc., and how seniors can help, or get help, through the program. Members thought she was a wonderful speaker.
