Troop F report (week of 11-23-2016)

     HOULTON, Maine — The Maine State Police Troop F barracks in Houlton responded to numerous calls for service during the week of Nov. 14-20:

Monday, November 14

     – Tr. Kilcollins responded to the town of Hammond for a report of three camps being broken into. Tr. Kilcollins was not able to locate the padlocks from the camps and it appears as though the suspect cut the locks and took them. The only thing that was taken from the three camps was a flat screen television. The investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, November 16

     – Cpl. Michaud took a complaint of a stolen wallet in the town of Mapleton. A man and woman had been out hunting and returned to find wallet missing from their unlocked vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, November 17

     – Tr. Pescitelli was on rural patrol in Mars Hill and observed a male and a female walking. Tr. Pescitelli was familiar with the female and stopped to ask her if she had taken care of a warrant. Tr. Pescitelli ran the female which showed an active warrant in the system. Tr. Pescitelli arrested the female and transported her to the Aroostook County Jail.

Friday, November 18

     – Tr. Kilcollins was on rural patrol in Amity and stopped a vehicle for speeding. Tr. Kilcollins ran the two occupants of the vehicle. One subject showed an active warrant for his arrest. Tr. Kilcollins arrested the man and transported him to the Aroostook County Jail.

Saturday, November 19

     – Tr. Kilcollins was on rural patrol in Westfield and stopped a vehicle for traveling 75 mph in a posted 55-mph zone. Tr. Kilcollins ran the teenage operator’s license which showed that his license was intermediate status. The teenager was traveling to Presque Isle for his employment and had a passenger with him. Tr. Kilcollins notified the teen’s mother and gave the passenger a ride to Presque Isle. The teen was summoned for speeding and violation of his intermediate license.
