We are having a snowstorm as this is written on Nov. 30. The snow was bound to come. Some like it and some do not.
The girls and other tenants had a potluck on Friday after Thanksgiving. The ones who went had a good time and enjoyed the socializing.
St. Mary’s Church enjoyed their dinner on Thanksgiving Day in St. Anthony’s Hall.
Lots of good food was consumed, and the dinner was sponsored by the local Knights of Columbus. It was featured on WAGM television. Some of the food ran out but was replenished. Folks enjoyed their dinner and were thankful.
So sorry to learn of the death of Chester Bailey a few weeks ago. Chester was a tease and I was one of those he liked to tease. He was married to Molly and our sympathy goes out to her and her family. So sorry, Molly.
The Christmas spirit was being shown, or should be. The stores are filled with gifts and decorations and ornaments. Have you made plans?
Also sympathy is shown to Lavina Byron in the loss of her sister, Norma Bates, who passed at the nursing home. Norma had a sweet disposition; I can remember when she and her husband George walked the halls here for exercise. Lavina will miss her sister and our sympathy is extended to her and family.
To all the people who are on the sick list, we wish our best and our hope is that your life is blessed with good friends and caretakers.
Until the next time, be happy and keep strong and well.
