PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Presque Isle High School students have been hard at work this week decorating the halls to reflect designated themes by each class, and want the community to enjoy the results.
On Friday, Dec. 9, the high school will be open to the public so visitors can view the decorations in all four hallways, after which they may vote for their favorite hall.
According to Katalin Grooms, student council adviser, the students put in 21 hours over the course of four days to transform the halls into works of art. The themes are: freshmen, “Candy Land”; sophomores, “Space”; juniors, “Arcade”; and seniors, “Earth.”
The students and council invite everyone to stop in.
