     LIMESTONE: Knitting/crochet club will start at the Frost Memorial Library, Thursdays at 6 p.m. All ages and levels welcome; there will be teachers for those who want to learn. FMI: 325-4706.

     FORT FAIRFIELD: Breakfast hosted by the Fort Fairfield Snowmobile Club, 7-10 a.m. at the clubhouse on the Strickland Road. Cost: $7/adults, $4/children under 12. All are welcome.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

     CARIBOU: Monthly meeting of the Caribou Utilities District, 7:30 a.m. in the conference room at 176 Limestone St.

     LIMESTONE: Book Club at Frost Memorial Library, 1 p.m. Featured book: “Lilac Girls” by Martha Hall Kelly.

     CASWELL: Chicken stew/chili dinner fundraiser at the Pleasant Ridge Riders Snowmobile Clubhouse, 17 Pleasant Ridge Rd., 4-7 p.m. Cost: $8/adults, $4/children. Bake sale items available. Proceeds benefit the groomer fund.
