HOULTON, Maine — Downtown Houlton will host a “First Night” event to ring in the New Year on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016.
Three downtown restaurants, The Courtyard Cafe, Wine Until Nine and The Vault at Farmers National, have joined forces to offer a New Year’s Eve special of all-you-can eat snack buffet items from 9-midnight.
Weather permitting, there will also be a video screen set up outside to show the New Year’s Eve events in Times Square, New York. Burn barrels will also be located around the downtown to offer warmth.
