HOULTON, Maine — The staff had our Christmas party in the community room Sunday. Brian’s seafood stew hit the spot. With other foods, it was delicious. The party was topped off with a Yankee Swap. We all had a good time.

Joe Garnett has been hospitalized for several weeks. Joe, I’m sure your family wants you home, so behave yourself and we will see you soon. Thanks to the local Elks Club we enjoyed our Christmas dinner supplied by them. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, peas, pie and it was still hot.The volunteer brought it right to the car.

My Christmas wish to all you readers is that you had a great Christmas with your family and friends. This wish is also extended to all readers for the new year, 2017, and many more wishes go with you.

See you in the new year. God bless and keep well and warm.
