Eight students earn CNA pins

     CARIBOU — RSU39’s Eastern Aroostook Adult and Community Education hosted a Certified Nursing Assistant pinning ceremony on Dec. 15 at the Caribou Learning Center.

     Eight students successfully completed the rigorous 200-hour course, preparing them to enter into healthcare employment with the knowledge, compassion and confidence needed.

     This was Koralie Emerson’s first class as instructor. Emerson said she enjoyed the experience so much, she has committed to a spring CNA class.

     Adult and Community Education Director Dan MacDonald thanked the students for their hard work and dedication, and said he was glad to bring them together to celebrate their accomplishments as individuals and as a team. He also thanked the friends and families for supporting the students, caring for their children, transportation needs, household chores as needed and other means of support.

 

 

     Newly graduated CNAs are Deanna Anderson, Kathy Ballard, Kaylyn Blood, Pauochau Brown-Paul, Jessie King, Jordan Lay, Susan Phillips and Danielle Tardie.
