Heavyweight fighters — Gilbert “Bunny” Williams, Maine heavyweight champion, has had great difficulty getting other fighters to step in the ring with him. However, boxing in this land of King Potato was dealt a bad blow at Caribou. The failure to produce the fighters as advertised did not help the fistic game any in the section. Another thing: Presque Isle seemed like the logical place to hold fights in Aroostook.
