Society holds first 2017 meeting

CARIBOU, Maine — Supporters and members of the Caribou Historical Center and Museum will hold their first meeting of 2017 on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to determine priorities based upon need and available resources for 2017.

Some of the potential concerns to be considered include: funding of annual operating expenses; replacement of a 30-year-old heating system; replacement of Spring Brook Bridge, which is in a state of disrepair; identifying and scheduling a series of displays for the public; increasing the number of visitors to the Center; and encouraging the addition of artifacts to the collections.

Members and other interested individuals are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
